Indie Banditas is the dream-child of Kate Butler, a stay at home mom of 5, who has always loved art and handmade crafts. Kate grew up on Bainbridge Island, WA and has lived there off and on for 20 years.

Indie Banditas is passionate about not losing touch with the handwork of our ancestors. Buying something handmade means that not only are you supporting local artists, but you are buying something that is unique, and made with love.

In 2008, Indie Banditas Bazaar had it’s first show at a small grange hall. Half a dozen shows later, and we are now a rapidly-growing traveling show; hosting anywhere from 30 to 80 local Northwest artists and crafters.  We will be traveling around Washington until 2011, when we leave the state to visit the West Coast.

Our shows are full of fascinating, talented people: offering handcrafted treasures that stand the test of time!
